It happens that when you love somebody, you want to hang out with them. God’s love overflows into the world and surrounds all of us. While spending time with God we have found some of the ways God serves his beloved people. We wanted to join God in doing these things, too. The work we are privileged to share are things that enrich our community, in our neighborhood and out into the world. We share our building with A MEAL & MORE which provides meals twice a week for anyone who comes to be fed; and THE EASTMAN SCHOOL OF MUSIC which feeds the spirits of the entire Rochester, New York area with free weekly concerts and the meditative service of Compline. We also have a garden. The Cooney Family Garden is a green-space in downtown Rochester where people meet and relax. It is part of the butterfly migration zone. It is also home to outdoor art. The Contemporary Art Gallery, RoCo is partnered with Christ Church to make this possible.

Beyond our own walls the work continues through our support of FAMILY PROMISE- formerly RAIHN, a way of housing families who need a safe place to live. While, EPISCOPAL RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT is an international agency that does big things all over the world. Closer to home the Bishop’s fund of the Episcopal Diocese of Rochester does big things, too. We support these ministries through our donations and our personal volunteer time.
